Paying a UK university from Nepal is safest when the payment begins inside the university’s official applicant portal and ends with a traceable receipt. The available route may be an approved international payment partner, bank transfer through that partner, card payment or another method shown by the institution. This guide uses official university information checked on 24 July 2026.

Quick answer: Log in through the official university website, open the deposit or tuition task, confirm the exact amount and student reference, and use only the payment route displayed there. Universities such as UCL, Westminster, Greenwich and UWE Bristol direct international students to Flywire. Another university may use a different approved provider. Step-by-step payment process from Nepal

  1. Enter the university portal directly. Type the official domain or use a saved genuine link rather than a link in an unexpected email.
  2. Open the payment task. Select the correct deposit or tuition invoice and confirm the GBP amount.
  3. Follow the university’s approved route. If the portal redirects to Flywire, Convera or another named partner, check the domain and the institution name.
  4. Select Nepal as the sending country. The provider will show available methods, exchange-rate information and payment instructions. Options vary by country and time.
  5. Enter student details exactly. A wrong application number can delay allocation even if the money reaches the provider.
  6. Prepare bank documents. The bank may request the offer, invoice, identity documents, tax or remittance documents and other evidence under current Nepal rules. Ask the sending bank for its live checklist.
