Start from the official College Board SAT registration page and create or sign in to the student’s own account. College Board says registration takes about thirty minutes and can be started and finished later. The student must register for themself; a parent or counsellor cannot complete the registration in the student’s place. Keep the login private and use an email address and phone access the student can maintain through score delivery and applications.

Check the identity record before choosing a date. Enter the legal name and other identifying details exactly and avoid informal spellings that conflict with the test-day document. College Board’s Nepal-specific ID rule states that the accepted identification is a valid passport bearing the student’s name, photograph and signature, or a U.S. Department of Defense Common Access Card. Most Nepali students will therefore need the valid passport. If a name needs correction, follow official support guidance early.

Choose the date from the live SAT calendar and compare available test centres during registration. College Board advises exploring multiple locations because not every centre has seats.
