SAT Score Release Dates 2026–2027: Nepal Student Guide
Use the College Board release table for the exact administration and leave additional time for university processing before an application deadline.
The published release date is one milestone in a longer score workflow
A student still needs account access, report interpretation, a submission decision and enough time for the receiving university to process the score.
Start with the official College Board Score Release Dates page and select the relevant SAT Weekend administration. For fall 2026, the published student dates are September 4, September 25, October 16, November 20 and December 18 for the August through December tests shown in the official table. College Board also states that most weekend scores become available 2–4 weeks after test day. These dates can be revised or expanded, so save the live page rather than relying on a social-media calendar.
Access the score through the student’s own College Board account. Students aged thirteen or older can use the Student Score Report site and download the official report PDF. The newest score normally appears first, with earlier SAT and PSAT results under additional scores. If a result is missing, check account information, registration details and whether another account was created previously. Avoid making a second account as a first response because separated records can create more confusion.
Read the report beyond the total. The detailed online report includes Reading and Writing plus Math section scores, performance information across the four content domains in each section, benchmarks, percentile and comparison context. Use the domain information with the student’s error log to decide what to practise next. A single total does not identify whether lost points came from grammar, inference, algebra, advanced math, pacing or another recurring behaviour.
Separate score release from score delivery. College Board notes that processing time can vary after a college receives scores. A student should check whether the university accepts self-reported scores for the application, requires an official College Board report, has a last acceptable test date or uses a document deadline separate from the application deadline. Build a buffer for ordering, transmission, matching to the application record and any institutional processing delay.
Make the submit or retake decision from current university evidence. Compare the verified score with the institution’s testing policy, published context and scholarship rules for the exact applicant type and intake. A lower-than-planned score is not automatically a failed application, and a high score does not guarantee admission or funding. If a retake is sensible, choose a future test date that allows enough preparation and another release cycle before the earliest relevant deadline.
MKS Education helps students turn score reports into an organised next step through physical, online and hybrid SAT classes, recordings for every mode, iOS and Android practice, physical books, an eight-week guided course, six-month access and continued support. Students needing additional repetition may join multiple suitable classes without another class charge, subject to schedule and seats. MKS can review performance evidence but cannot accelerate College Board release or university processing.
Diagnose first
Use a timed Bluebook practice result and a domain-level error log instead of choosing a plan from a guessed score.
Match the goal
Connect the test date, score decision and preparation schedule to the real university and scholarship timeline.
Verify claims
Use College Board and official university pages for changing rules, dates, fees, formats and score-use policies.
Turn the decision into checks you can verify
Save the source URL and the date you checked it. A clear table is more reliable than memory or a verbal promise.
| Check | Why it matters | What to verify |
|---|---|---|

Physical online and hybrid
Choose a suitable mode and confirm the current timetable; the system supports Kathmandu and outside-Kathmandu learners.
Recordings in every mode
Physical, online and hybrid students can revisit difficult concepts and recover missed work.
iOS and Android practice

Follow organised print material alongside app practice, teacher guidance and official digital resources.
Eight weeks plus six months
Eight weeks of guided teaching connects to six-month learning access and continued support.
Multiple suitable classes
Students needing more repetition may join suitable classes without another class charge, subject to the current schedule and seats.
Practical next steps
- Save the official release date for the exact registered administration.
- Test the College Board account login before the expected result day.
- Record each university’s self-report and official-score requirement separately.
- Leave time between score release and the university document deadline.
Mistakes to avoid
- Do not assume every score is released at the same moment.
- Do not create a second College Board account before checking the existing record.
- Do not send a score automatically without reviewing the current university policy.
- Do not treat a published release date as guaranteed same-day university processing.
Prepare for the digital SAT that students actually take
College Board states that the SAT contains a 64-minute Reading and Writing section and a 70-minute Math section. Each has two adaptive modules, with a 10-minute break between the sections.
Reading and Writing
- 54 questions across two 32-minute modules.
- Build information and ideas, craft and structure, expression of ideas and standard English conventions.
- Review why the correct answer is supported and why each close alternative fails.
- Track both accuracy and time by domain before relying on full-test averages.
Math
- 44 questions across two 35-minute modules.
- Build Algebra, Advanced Math, Problem-Solving and Data Analysis, Geometry and Trigonometry.
- Choose deliberately between mental work, algebra and the built-in graphing calculator.
- Review conceptual, translation, calculator and careless-error patterns separately.
Build your SAT plan from real diagnostic evidence
Bring your target universities, earliest deadline, preferred test date and a recent Bluebook practice result. MKS Education can help organise an eight-week guided plan with flexible learning modes, recordings, app practice, books, six-month access and continued support.

Use the student’s College Board account and the Student Score Report site. The detailed report and downloadable PDF appear there when available.
Does a university receive my SAT score on the release date?
Not necessarily. Release to the student and processing by a receiving university are different stages, so allow a deadline buffer.
Can MKS Education speed up SAT score release?
No. College Board controls release. MKS can help interpret the report and plan preparation or application next steps.
