IELTS Study Plan for 90 Days: Nepali Student Guide
Twelve weeks create room for language foundations, task methods, feedback, timed transfer and repeatable computer-test evidence before booking.
Use the extra month to build language control as well as test technique
A longer plan is valuable when it changes the quality of practice. More calendar days alone do not improve performance without feedback and retesting.
Weeks 1–3 establish the route and foundation. Confirm Academic or General Training, the exact overall and section minimums, the application deadline and the delivery mode. Complete a four-skill diagnostic using official IELTS sample questions. Keep the original Writing, Speaking recording and error log so later progress can be compared with the same criteria.
Use the foundation phase to repair causes that short plans may only reveal. Build paraphrase awareness, accurate sentence control, spelling, word forms and reading stamina around actual errors. Learn the computer interface and typing workflow early. Separate general English gaps from task-method mistakes so vocabulary study, grammar review and test practice each have a clear purpose.
Weeks 4–6 develop methods for every task family. In Listening and Reading, practise question types in short sets and explain the evidence for each answer. In Writing, apply feedback to task achievement or response, coherence, vocabulary and grammar, remembering that Task 2 carries more weight. In Speaking, record Parts 1–3 and practise relevant flexible development rather than scripts.
Weeks 7–9 test transfer under time. Combine question types, complete full receptive sections and produce Writing and Speaking responses within the official limits. Review each timed result before repeating. A correction counts only when it appears on a different task without teacher prompts. Track recurring errors weekly and change the method if the same pattern survives several attempts.
Weeks 10–12 use spaced computer mocks and a decision log. Complete two or three full simulations with detailed review and targeted work between them. Compare every section with the real requirement, not only the overall average. Rehearse identification, arrival, headphone, keyboard and screen routines. Book when performance is repeatable and the result window fits the deadline; otherwise use the remaining access period to continue.
Start from evidence
Match the class plan to your current score profile, application requirement and realistic test date.
Review the feedback
Useful feedback explains the error, links it to an IELTS criterion and gives a concrete next practice step.
Prepare for delivery
Build language skill and the computer workflow together before a timed official test.
Use this checklist before paying or booking
Ask the centre for current written information. The table turns general marketing language into verifiable questions.
| Check | Why it matters | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Weeks 1–2 | Requirement and four-skill diagnostic. | Baseline work score profile and deadline. |
| Week 3 | Foundation repair and computer workflow. | Language causes typing and navigation. |
| Week 4 | Listening and Reading methods. | Accuracy by task family. |
| Week 5 | Writing criterion feedback. | Complete tasks rewrites and new prompts. |
| Week 6 | Speaking recording and review. | Fluency range control and pronunciation. |
| Weeks 7–8 | Timed sections and mixed practice. | Stable method under pressure. |
| Week 9 | Transfer retest. | Same correction on unfamiliar material. |
| Week 10 | First full computer mock. | Deep review before another simulation. |
| Week 11 | Targeted repair and second mock. | Recurring-error reduction. |
| Week 12 | Final evidence and booking decision. | Repeatability deadline and contingency. |
What makes the MKS IELTS learning system different
Classroom teaching, revision, independent practice and longer support work as one system instead of separate add-ons.
Three learning modes
Choose physical, online or hybrid learning and confirm the current timetable that fits your routine.
Recordings for every mode
Physical, online and hybrid students can revisit lessons and catch up on missed work.
iOS and Android access
Continue structured IELTS practice beyond the live class through the MKS digital system.
Physical books
Use organised print materials together with digital practice instead of scattered files.
Six-month access
The eight-week guided course connects to six-month learning access and continued support.
Multiple suitable classes
Students needing more repetition may join suitable classes without another class charge.
Keep every section inside the same improvement loop
Attempt, diagnose, correct, repeat and retest. Your overall goal should never hide a required section minimum.
A balanced weekly routine
- Review Listening distractors, spelling and paraphrase recognition rather than only counting correct answers.
- Track Reading accuracy by question type and add timed sections only after the method is stable.
- Use the official Writing criteria to revise task response, organisation, vocabulary and grammar.
- Record Speaking answers and review fluency, vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation without memorising scripts.
- Keep an error log and use the next mock to test whether the correction actually worked.
Before enrolment
- Confirm Academic or General Training and the required overall and section bands.
- Ask for the current timetable, fee, inclusions, teacher-feedback process and access period in writing.
- Test the commute, device, internet and study hours needed for the chosen class mode.
- Ask how the centre handles missed classes, weak skills and a test date later than the live course.
Before the official test
- Check the authorised test partner for current dates, locations, fees and delivery options.
- Use the same computer workflow and timing that you will face on test day.
- Book only after your reviewed practice evidence supports the planned date.
- Keep the application deadline and result-delivery time inside the booking decision.

Verify live IELTS information
Is 90 days enough for IELTS preparation?
It may be enough for many realistic targets, but the starting level and requirement decide. Use diagnostic and mock evidence rather than the calendar alone.
What is the advantage of a three-month IELTS plan?
It gives more time for language foundations, feedback, retesting and computer-test familiarity before full decision-point mocks.
How often should I take full mocks in 90 days?
Use full mocks mainly in the final phase, with detailed review and targeted correction between them, rather than testing every day.
How should I track progress over 12 weeks?
Track question-type accuracy, criterion feedback, recurring errors, timed section results and repeatability across comparable mocks.
Does MKS support students beyond eight weeks?
Yes. The eight-week guided course connects to six-month access and continued support, with recordings and app practice for continued learning.
