F-1 visa

Move from admission to the student visa process

After acceptance by an eligible institution, review every detail on Form I-20. The current process can include the I-901 SEVIS fee, DS-160, visa fee, appointment and an interview. The US Department of State may request evidence of academic preparation, intent to depart after study and the ability to pay educational and living costs.

Timeline

Start 12 to 18 months before the intended intake

Which test is required for undergraduate study in the USA?
