How to Send SAT Scores to Universities from Nepal 2026
Verify the university’s reporting rule and recipient code before ordering, then leave enough time for College Board delivery and the institution’s own application matching.
A successful order still needs correct university matching and processing time
The workflow has four separate milestones: choosing the right score, ordering it, College Board delivery and the university attaching it to the application.
Start on the university’s official admissions page. Determine whether the application accepts self-reported scores, requires an official College Board report immediately or asks for verification only after admission or enrolment. Record the deadline, applicant category, test-optional decision, Score Choice or all-score rule, superscore method and any scholarship requirement before opening the score-order screen.
Use the student’s own College Board account. Search the recipient by official name and location, then confirm the four-digit score-send code when available. Universities can have multiple campuses or units, and scholarship programmes use separate recipient records. A similar name is not sufficient evidence. Compare the selected recipient with the code or link published by the institution and keep private account and payment details secure.
Choose complete test dates according to policy. Score Choice allows selected dates for a paid order when the recipient permits them, while some institutions ask for all scores. A superscoring university may need two administrations containing the student’s best sections. Review the score dates, recipient, reporting option and applicant deadline together; ordering the wrong date or campus can create delay and another charge.
College Board currently states that weekend SAT registration includes up to four free score sends when selected at registration or within nine days after the test. A later additional report can carry a fee, while eligible fee-waiver users receive different benefits. As of the official fees page for services through December 2026, an additional score report is listed at $15 and a rush report at $31 plus applicable report fees. Prices can change, so the live checkout and fee page must control.
Leave delivery and processing buffers. College Board says standard electronic reports are typically sent within 5–10 business days of an order, while rush reports are sent within 1–4 business days after already-released scores are ordered. Rush reporting does not make an unreleased score appear sooner and cannot be changed or canceled. The university may need additional time to receive, match and mark the score complete in its applicant portal.
MKS Education helps students connect score delivery to the application timeline and prepare for relevant retakes through physical, online and hybrid SAT classes, recordings across modes, iOS and Android practice, physical books, an eight-week guided course, six-month access and continued support. Students needing more repetition may join multiple suitable classes without another class charge, subject to schedule and seats. MKS cannot access a student account, accelerate delivery or guarantee university processing.
Diagnose first
Use a timed Bluebook practice result and a domain-level error log instead of choosing a plan from a guessed score.
Match the goal
Connect the test date, score decision and preparation schedule to the real university and scholarship timeline.
Verify claims
Use College Board and official university pages for changing rules, dates, fees, formats and score-use policies.
Turn the decision into checks you can verify
Save the source URL and the date you checked it. A clear table is more reliable than memory or a verbal promise.
| Check | Why it matters | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| University score rule | Determines whether an official order is needed now. | Self-report official report or later verification. |
| Applicant identity | The university must match the report to the application. | Legal name birth date and application record consistency. |
| Recipient name | Similar institutions can appear in search. | Official university campus or scholarship programme. |
| Score-send code | A code reduces recipient ambiguity. | Current four-digit code from an official source. |
| Test dates | The report must follow Score Choice or all-score rules. | Complete administrations selected. |
| Superscore support | The institution may need more than one date. | Dates containing the best eligible sections. |
| Free send window | Early selection can avoid a later charge. | Weekend registration and nine-day official window. |
| Additional report fee | Later orders may create a separate cost. | Live College Board fee before checkout. |
| Standard delivery | College Board transmission is not instant. | Typically 5–10 business days after order. |
| Rush delivery | Available only for released scores and costs extra. | Typically 1–4 business days plus recipient processing. |
| University processing | Delivery and portal matching are separate. | Applicant portal status and admissions contact. |
| Order record | Provides evidence if matching is delayed. | Receipt recipient dates and order confirmation. |

Physical books
Follow organised print material alongside app practice, teacher guidance and official digital resources.
Eight weeks plus six months
Eight weeks of guided teaching connects to six-month learning access and continued support.
Multiple suitable classes
Students needing more repetition may join suitable classes without another class charge, subject to the current schedule and seats.
Practical next steps
- Verify the university reporting policy deadline and score-send code on official pages.
- Match the student identity in College Board with the university application record.
- Select the recipient and complete score dates then review all order details.
- Save the confirmation and monitor the applicant portal after the delivery window.
Mistakes to avoid
- Do not order an official report if the university currently asks only for self-reporting.
- Do not choose a recipient from name alone when campuses or scholarship codes differ.
- Do not assume rush reporting accelerates score release or university processing.
- Do not wait until the document deadline to begin a multi-stage delivery workflow.
Prepare for the digital SAT that students actually take
College Board states that the SAT contains a 64-minute Reading and Writing section and a 70-minute Math section. Each has two adaptive modules, with a 10-minute break between the sections.
Reading and Writing
- 54 questions across two 32-minute modules.
- Build information and ideas, craft and structure, expression of ideas and standard English conventions.
- Review why the correct answer is supported and why each close alternative fails.
- Track both accuracy and time by domain before relying on full-test averages.
Math
- 44 questions across two 35-minute modules.
- Build Algebra, Advanced Math, Problem-Solving and Data Analysis, Geometry and Trigonometry.
- Choose deliberately between mental work, algebra and the built-in graphing calculator.
- Review conceptual, translation, calculator and careless-error patterns separately.
Build your SAT plan from real diagnostic evidence
Bring your target universities, earliest deadline, preferred test date and a recent Bluebook practice result. MKS Education can help organise an eight-week guided plan with flexible learning modes, recordings, app practice, books, six-month access and continued support.
