SAT Study Plan for 90 Days: Nepali Student Guide
Use three months to repair foundations deeply, build skill accuracy, integrate timing and protect official full-length tests for meaningful checkpoints.
Three months creates room for deeper learning when checkpoints control the direction
The additional month should strengthen weak academic skills and review habits rather than simply increasing question volume.
During week one, take the Bluebook Test Preview if needed, then complete a full-length diagnostic under realistic conditions. Review it through My Practice and build two maps: a content map by official domain and skill, and a process map for time, confidence, calculator use and answer entry. Set a target from the current universities and programmes being researched, not from a social-media claim about a universal good score.
Use weeks two through four for foundation repair. A student with gaps in linear equations, functions, grammar boundaries or close reading needs explicit instruction and slow correct work before timed drills. Khan Academy’s official digital SAT courses organise Math and Reading and Writing practice across foundation, medium and advanced levels. Use teacher explanation and physical-book exercises where they clarify a method, then verify transfer with official digital items.
Use weeks five through seven for skill mastery. Filter the Student Question Bank by the priority domain, skill and difficulty. Mix solved examples, independent sets, oral explanation and delayed reattempts. An error is not closed when the answer is copied; it is closed when the student can identify the cue, choose the method, reject distractors and solve a different question without prompting.
Use weeks eight and nine for integration. Complete timed modules with mixed domains and maintain a stable review routine. Because the digital SAT adapts between modules, official Bluebook full-length tests should be used for score checkpoints. Practice sets are better for targeted repetitions. Track how performance changes by skill and difficulty instead of expecting each practice score to rise in a straight line.
Use weeks ten and eleven for two full test-review-repair cycles. Leave enough days between tests to examine explanations and practise repeated weaknesses. Review correct guesses and slow correct answers, not only wrong answers. In week twelve, reduce volume, confirm Bluebook device readiness and registration details, rehearse the test-day routine, and protect sleep. Keep a later administration option only if deadlines permit it.
MKS Education supports a longer plan through physical, online and hybrid teaching, recordings across every mode, iOS and Android practice, physical books, an eight-week guided core, six-month access and continued support. The extra weeks can be used for baseline preparation and post-course review. Students needing more repetition may join multiple suitable classes without another class charge, subject to schedule and seats. No study duration creates a guaranteed score.
Diagnose first
Use a timed Bluebook practice result and a domain-level error log instead of choosing a plan from a guessed score.
Match the goal
Connect the test date, score decision and preparation schedule to the real university and scholarship timeline.
Verify claims
Use College Board and official university pages for changing rules, dates, fees, formats and score-use policies.
Turn the decision into checks you can verify
Save the source URL and the date you checked it. A clear table is more reliable than memory or a verbal promise.
| Check | Why it matters | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Week 1 | Bluebook baseline target context and error map. | Evidence-led priorities. |
| Week 2 | Reading comprehension and evidence foundations. | Accurate passage reasoning. |
| Week 3 | Grammar expression and vocabulary foundations. | Rules plus contextual choice. |
| Week 4 | Math foundation repair across weak domains. | Methods and calculator fluency. |
| Week 5 | Priority skill practice at foundation difficulty. | Stable method without prompts. |
| Week 6 | Priority skill practice at medium difficulty. | Transfer across question wording. |
| Week 7 | Advanced and mixed targeted sets. | Difficulty-specific error analysis. |
| Week 8 | Timed Reading and Writing modules. | Pacing and review routine. |
| Week 9 | Timed Math modules. | Efficient setup and checking. |
| Week 10 | Full Bluebook test review and repair. | Updated priority map. |
| Week 11 | Second test-review-repair cycle. | Readiness and retest evidence. |
| Week 12 | Light consolidation and device routine. | Calm accurate test-day execution. |
What makes the MKS SAT learning system different
The live class, revision, independent practice and extended support work together instead of ending on the last teaching day.
Physical online and hybrid
Choose a suitable mode and confirm the current timetable; the system supports Kathmandu and outside-Kathmandu learners.
Recordings in every mode
Physical, online and hybrid students can revisit difficult concepts and recover missed work.
iOS and Android practice
Use structured SAT practice and review through the MKS digital learning system outside class.
Physical books
Follow organised print material alongside app practice, teacher guidance and official digital resources.
Eight weeks plus six months
Eight weeks of guided teaching connects to six-month learning access and continued support.
Multiple suitable classes
Students needing more repetition may join suitable classes without another class charge, subject to the current schedule and seats.
Practical next steps
- Connect the target score to current university research and a real baseline.
- Complete foundation work before demanding advanced timed performance.
- Close errors through delayed reattempt and transfer to a new question.
- Reserve official full tests for checkpoints followed by detailed review.
Mistakes to avoid
- Do not fill ninety days with random questions and no progression.
- Do not treat one practice score change as proof of a trend.
- Do not abandon application research school grades or English requirements.
- Do not use a long preparation period as a promise of admission or funding.
Prepare for the digital SAT that students actually take
College Board states that the SAT contains a 64-minute Reading and Writing section and a 70-minute Math section. Each has two adaptive modules, with a 10-minute break between the sections.
Reading and Writing
- 54 questions across two 32-minute modules.
- Build information and ideas, craft and structure, expression of ideas and standard English conventions.
- Review why the correct answer is supported and why each close alternative fails.
- Track both accuracy and time by domain before relying on full-test averages.
Math
- 44 questions across two 35-minute modules.
- Build Algebra, Advanced Math, Problem-Solving and Data Analysis, Geometry and Trigonometry.
- Choose deliberately between mental work, algebra and the built-in graphing calculator.
- Review conceptual, translation, calculator and careless-error patterns separately.
Build your SAT plan from real diagnostic evidence
Bring your target universities, earliest deadline, preferred test date and a recent Bluebook practice result. MKS Education can help organise an eight-week guided plan with flexible learning modes, recordings, app practice, books, six-month access and continued support.

Is a 90-day SAT plan better than a 30-day plan?
It offers more time for foundation repair and multiple review cycles, but quality of practice and consistency matter more than the calendar length alone.
When should I take full-length practice tests?
Use one for the baseline and later checkpoints when you can review every item and act on the results. Avoid testing so often that learning time disappears.
How many hours should I study each day?
Choose a sustainable amount based on school workload and diagnostic needs. Consistent focused study with review is more useful than an unsupported universal hour rule.
What if my score stops improving?
Inspect skill-level errors timing confidence and review quality, then change the method or seek teacher feedback. A plateau is a signal for diagnosis, not a score prediction.
Can MKS personalise a three-month plan?
MKS can align the eight-week guided course and six-month access with the student’s baseline calendar and continued practice without guaranteeing an outcome.
Plan your application with MKS Education
MKS Education is a study abroad consultancy opposite Shankerdev Campus in Putalisadak, Kathmandu. We help Nepali students review profiles, shortlist universities and courses, prepare applications, organise documents, research scholarships, and plan CAS and visa-file stages using current official sources. Universities and immigration authorities make all admission and visa decisions.
