The scale is context, not a promise. Choose evidence, feedback and a sustainable routine.
Eight weeks four phases

Two months is long enough to learn and retest if every week ends with evidence

The strongest schedule links each new lesson to official questions and each timed checkpoint to a revised priority list.

Complete Bluebook setup and a full-length diagnostic at the beginning. The official practice experience includes the adaptive digital structure and test tools, and My Practice lets the student inspect answers and explanations. Record the baseline section scores, but also count missed and uncertain questions by domain and skill. A score alone does not identify whether the next lesson should be algebra, transitions, inference or pacing.

Use weeks one and two for foundations. Reading and Writing work may include comprehension of short passages, command of evidence, vocabulary in context, rhetorical purpose, transitions and Standard English Conventions. Math preparation should follow the official domains of Algebra, Advanced Math, Problem-Solving and Data Analysis, and Geometry and Trigonometry. Prioritise the exact skills revealed by the baseline rather than teaching the domain list in equal order.

Use weeks three and four for targeted official practice. The Student Question Bank can filter by section, domain, skill and difficulty, which supports a progression from clear method to mixed recognition. Complete small sets, explain why every wrong option fails, and add corrected methods to the error log. Khan Academy can support concept lessons and practice, while the MKS SAT app can provide continued scheduled work and teacher review.

Use weeks five and six to integrate pacing. Mix skills within timed modules, choose calculator and non-calculator-style reasoning efficiently even though a calculator is available throughout Math, and practise flagging without abandoning review. After each module, classify whether time was lost through slow method, repeated rereading, difficult-question fixation or careless entry. Adjust the order and checking routine only from repeated evidence.

Use weeks seven and eight for two complete cycles of test, review and repair. Take an official Bluebook test under realistic conditions, spend at least one or two study sessions reviewing it, practise recurring weaknesses, then take the final planned checkpoint early enough to recover. College Board advises students to use practice results to guide tailored practice; repeated testing without correction does not use that feedback loop.

MKS Education’s eight-week guided course aligns naturally with this horizon and includes physical, online and hybrid options, recordings in every mode, iOS and Android practice, physical books, six-month access and continued support. Students needing more repetition may join multiple suitable classes without another class charge, subject to schedules and seats. The plan remains individual: MKS does not promise a score, admission or scholarship.

Diagnose first

Use a timed Bluebook practice result and a domain-level error log instead of choosing a plan from a guessed score.

Match the goal

Connect the test date, score decision and preparation schedule to the real university and scholarship timeline.

Verify claims

Use College Board and official university pages for changing rules, dates, fees, formats and score-use policies.

Evidence table

Turn the decision into checks you can verify

Save the source URL and the date you checked it. A clear table is more reliable than memory or a verbal promise.

CheckWhy it mattersWhat to verify
Week 1Bluebook baseline and complete error analysis.Ranked skill list and study calendar.
Week 2Repair priority Reading and Writing foundations.Accurate untimed reasoning.
Week 3Repair priority Math foundations. Methods formulas and calculator decisions.
Week 4Use filtered official questions by skill.Difficulty progression and error reduction.
Week 5Mix Reading and Writing skills under time.Recognition pacing and checking.
Week 6Mix Math skills under time.Efficient setup and answer verification.
Week 7Take a full Bluebook checkpoint and review.New evidence-led priority list.
Week 8Repair repeat errors and complete final rehearsal.Test-day and next-step decision.
Every study dayRecord answers confidence time and reason.A useful error log rather than a score diary.
Every weekProtect school and application responsibilities.A sustainable total workload.
Before registration deadlineConfirm administration and score timeline. No conflict with university deadlines.
After final testCompare patterns not one number alone.Continue retest or application decision.
MKS Education: MKS can map this eight-week structure to the student’s school schedule and current score profile, then retain six-month access for review and later application needs.
Connected preparation

What makes the MKS SAT learning system different

The live class, revision, independent practice and extended support work together instead of ending on the last teaching day.

Physical online and hybrid

Choose a suitable mode and confirm the current timetable; the system supports Kathmandu and outside-Kathmandu learners.

Recordings in every mode

Physical, online and hybrid students can revisit difficult concepts and recover missed work.

iOS and Android practice

Use structured SAT practice and review through the MKS digital learning system outside class.

Physical books

Follow organised print material alongside app practice, teacher guidance and official digital resources.

Eight weeks plus six months

Eight weeks of guided teaching connects to six-month learning access and continued support.

Multiple suitable classes

Students needing more repetition may join suitable classes without another class charge, subject to the current schedule and seats.

Practical next steps

  • Define weekly outputs for concept accuracy timed pacing and error review.
  • Use official questions to verify every taught skill.
  • Schedule full tests only when there is time to analyse them afterward.
  • Reallocate the next week from repeat-error evidence rather than preference.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Do not copy an identical hour target for every student.
  • Do not let strong Math hide neglected Reading and Writing or vice versa.
  • Do not consume every official practice form before the final checkpoints.
  • Do not mistake an eight-week course structure for a score guarantee.
Current test context

Prepare for the digital SAT that students actually take

College Board states that the SAT contains a 64-minute Reading and Writing section and a 70-minute Math section. Each has two adaptive modules, with a 10-minute break between the sections.

Reading and Writing

  • 54 questions across two 32-minute modules.
  • Build information and ideas, craft and structure, expression of ideas and standard English conventions.
  • Review why the correct answer is supported and why each close alternative fails.
  • Track both accuracy and time by domain before relying on full-test averages.

Math

  • 44 questions across two 35-minute modules.
  • Build Algebra, Advanced Math, Problem-Solving and Data Analysis, Geometry and Trigonometry.
  • Choose deliberately between mental work, algebra and the built-in graphing calculator.
  • Review conceptual, translation, calculator and careless-error patterns separately.

Build your SAT plan from real diagnostic evidence

Bring your target universities, earliest deadline, preferred test date and a recent Bluebook practice result. MKS Education can help organise an eight-week guided plan with flexible learning modes, recordings, app practice, books, six-month access and continued support.

Is 60 days enough for SAT preparation?

It can support a complete diagnostic learning practice and retest cycle for many students, but the required time depends on baseline foundations and target context.

How should I divide the eight weeks?

Use early weeks for diagnosis and foundations, middle weeks for targeted and timed practice, and final weeks for full-test review and readiness.

Should I practise only my weaker section?

Prioritise the weaker skills while maintaining the stronger section. The final total uses both Reading and Writing and Math.

Can I use only Bluebook practice tests?

Bluebook is essential for full adaptive practice, but My Practice review, Student Question Bank sets and concept lessons make the preparation cycle more complete.

What support does MKS provide after eight weeks?

MKS offers six-month access and continued support as described in the enrolment package, subject to current programme terms and schedules.
