For a test-centre appointment, sign in to the mba.com account, choose Register for the GMAT and select the test-centre option. Review and accept the policies, then search by city, country or postal information. The official system displays nearby centres, available appointment dates and times, address details and centre-specific information. Compare multiple dates and, if necessary, expand the search radius. Availability can change quickly, so search results are not a reservation.
For an online appointment, first confirm that the option is available for the candidate’s location and that the computer, webcam, microphone, internet and private workspace meet current requirements. Run the required system check on the actual device and network. Online flexibility should not replace a careful environment test. Headphones, mobile devices and other items may be restricted, so read the current online rules before choosing the format.
Work backwards from official programme deadlines. Confirm whether each MBA or graduate-management programme accepts the GMAT delivery format, the relevant score and the timing of score reporting. Add a buffer for preparation review, unexpected appointment availability, application essays, references and document processing. Do not book solely because one date is visible or because a sales adviser gave a generic deadline.
