Treat the eight-week guided phase as the organised teaching cycle. Begin with an official-format diagnostic and identify section, question-type and timing priorities. The weekly sequence should cover Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning and Data Insights while returning to earlier errors through spaced review. Teacher assignments, class recordings, app work and books should point to the same priorities rather than operate as unrelated resources.
Keep the current GMAT blueprint visible. GMAC describes three 45-minute sections and 64 questions: 21 Quant, 23 Verbal and 20 Data Insights. Students also need pacing, section-order decisions and responsible use of Question Review & Edit. Eight weeks can organise these areas, but the exact pace must reflect the diagnostic, weekly study hours, target programmes and earliest deadline. A student with larger gaps may need more consolidation before an official attempt.
Use the six-month access period deliberately. It can support replaying recordings, completing app assignments, revisiting physical books, maintaining an error log, joining scheduled support and taking full-length official practice at appropriate checkpoints. Access is useful only when each month has a purpose. Build dated milestones for concept repair, mixed timed sets, full simulation, review and the application tasks that surround test preparation.
Protect official practice materials. GMAC provides a free Official Starter Kit, sample questions and Practice Exams 1 & 2. Use a first official-format diagnostic carefully, then avoid consuming full official simulations simply to feel busy. Before another mock, correct the previous result and demonstrate improvement on fresh targeted questions. The extended access period gives room for this diagnose-teach-practise-review cycle without promising that time alone produces a particular score.
Plan interruptions rather than hiding them. Bachelor classes, work, festivals, illness, travel and application deadlines can disrupt a perfect eight-week attendance record. Students needing more repetition may join suitable classes without another class charge, subject to the current schedule and seats. Confirm how switching, catch-up and repeat participation work for the selected batch.
The six-month period is a support framework, not an official GMAT validity rule and not a result warranty.
