Start with the official device timeline. College Board says SAT Weekend students must use Bluebook on an approved device with the correct settings. Its current readiness guidance recommends downloading the app in advance, using the testing device for practice and finding an alternative early if the first device does not qualify. Personal mobile phones and personal Chromebooks are not approved testing devices; verify the live device-requirements page for the operating system and hardware you plan to use.

Complete exam setup when Bluebook makes it available for your administration. College Board currently directs registered students to open Bluebook one to five days before the test, sign in and complete setup so the test can download and an admission ticket can be generated. Print the ticket if possible or store it as directed. On test-day morning, close and reopen Bluebook to check for messages, updates or test-centre changes.

Prepare identification separately from the admission ticket. College Board requires acceptable physical photo identification for SAT Weekend testing; an electronic image is not a substitute. The exact ID policy can depend on location and circumstances, so compare your document with the current official ID rules well before the date. Make sure the name and details used for registration are accurate and resolve any discrepancy through official support rather than waiting for the centre.

Pack only permitted and useful items. College Board lists a fully charged testing device, Bluebook with setup completed, the current admission ticket, acceptable physical ID, pencils or pens, and College Board sign-in credentials among the essentials. Bluebook includes an embedded calculator for Math; a permitted handheld calculator may also be brought. A charging cable or power bank, drink, snack and silent watch can be useful where allowed.

Plan the journey from the current admission ticket rather than from an old map or another student’s experience. Confirm the centre address, required arrival time, local transport, weather and a backup route. College Board advises checking Bluebook, email, My SAT and centre information for changes or closures. Arrive before the stated cut-off; late arrival can prevent admission and require a new registration.

Use the final study period for consolidation, not panic. Review a short error log, essential Math relationships, grammar patterns, Bluebook navigation and calculator choices. Avoid an exhausting full test the night before unless it is part of a tested personal routine. Prepare sleep, food, hydration and travel so attention is available for the actual modules.
