The Designated School Official issues Form I-20 after admission and the school’s financial process. Treat it as a core record, not a formality.

Review the estimated tuition, living cost and funding figures.
Make sure the SEVIS ID is used correctly for I-901 payment.
Sign the form where instructed and retain every updated version.

If a material detail is wrong, contact the school’s international office before moving ahead. Do not manually alter the I-20.
