Trinity College Toronto Theology for Nepali Students 2027: Programs Fees and Admission

Trinity currently lists Master of Divinity, Master of Psychospiritual Studies, Master of Theological Studies, Certificate in Theological Studies and Certificate in Theology and Interreligious Engagement. Advanced graduate routes include MA, ThM, DMin and PhD through the Toronto School of Theology structure.

The MDiv focuses on ministry formation, while the new MPS builds psychospiritual and professional-learning capacity. MTS and certificates offer broader theological or interreligious study. Applicants should compare required courses, placement, spiritual formation and any professional recognition before choosing a title.

Trinity also offers concentrations in Orthodox and Eastern Christian Studies and publishes active 2026–2027 courses across biblical, historical, pastoral, psychodynamic and interreligious themes. Use the actual curriculum to explain academic fit rather than relying on the institution’s name or Toronto location.

Trinity states that theology degrees are conjointly awarded by Trinity College and the University of Toronto through the Toronto School of Theology. Confirm the exact program’s issuer and final wording. A certificate, audited course or non-degree activity should not be described as the same credential as a conjoint graduate degree.

Trinity’s current Faculty of Divinity application form offers September 2027 entry and gives April 1, 2027 as the international deadline. Submit early enough for transcripts, references, interview, offer conditions, tuition planning and immigration steps. A form submission is not an admission decision.

Applicants to MTS, MPS and certificate routes generally need a recognized bachelor’s equivalent with at least B-minus standing, while the MDiv generally expects a bachelor’s with a B average. Some mature MDiv applicants can be considered provisionally under defined experience and prior-study conditions, not through an automatic waiver.

Provide official transcripts sent by the institutions, three references where required, a resume, statement or other specified material and a writing sample of about 2,500 words when requested for education from a non-English-speaking country. Eligible applicants may be invited to interview before committee review.

When English proof is required, Trinity lists IELTS 7.0 or TOEFL iBT 93 with at least 22 in speaking and writing. Results older than two years are not accepted. Do not assume a Nepal English-medium letter removes the test until Trinity confirms the exemption in writing.

Trinity’s live fee page currently links only to the University of Toronto 2025–2026 international schedule. It lists CAD 3,018 per course unit for basic-degree programs including MTS and MDiv. A three-unit course load listed CAD 18,108 before the applicable incidental and health charges.

The same historical schedule lists CAD 4,320 per ThM course unit, CAD 8,975 as the applicable DMin Fall program fee and CAD 27,530 Fall–Winter tuition for full-time MA or PhD study. These numbers help establish order of magnitude but are not 2027 prices.

Mandatory incidental, system-access, ancillary and UHIP charges are assessed separately and depend on status and course load. Students view their bill through ACORN. Obtain the 2027–2028 schedule and final invoice before payment and ask the registrar to explain any difference from an estimate.

Add Toronto housing, meals, books, transit, phone, winter clothing, airfare from Nepal, permit fees and an emergency reserve. Scholarships or bursaries may reduce tuition for eligible applicants, but promotional funding ranges are not a guaranteed award. Use only the formal offer in the financial plan.

Match the exact Faculty of Divinity credential, conjoint issuer, duration, campus attendance, full-time history and delivery to current PGWP rules. Do not use a University of Toronto public-DLI assumption simply because the degree is conjoint or classes are shared through TST.

Prepare the genuine Trinity letter of acceptance, correct attestation treatment, adequate current funds and a truthful purpose. Explain Trinity, TST and U of T roles consistently. Undergraduate college membership, residence or an audited course should never replace the theology admission evidence.
