The college states that it is affiliated with but separate from the University of Alberta and that its degrees are not University of Alberta degrees. Applicants should investigate whether a Nepal or Canadian employer, regulator, professional counselling body or later university recognises the exact award.

IRCC says other programs at this school are not eligible. Match the offer wording exactly and review current duration, delivery, language, field-of-study, full-time and study-history conditions. College affiliation does not transfer UAlberta status or eligibility.
