Capilano University for Nepali Students 2027: Courses Fees and Admission

Capilano offers programs in arts and sciences, business, communication, education, health, legal studies, tourism, film, animation, design and performing arts. International applicants should record the credential, program length, start term, campus, course sequence and any practicum, portfolio, audition or competitive selection requirement.

Map Nepal Grade 12 subjects and results to the program prerequisites. Transfer or post-baccalaureate applicants must disclose all previous post-secondary study and follow the correct academic route. Transfer credit, advanced standing and admission to a limited-enrolment program are separate decisions.

Explain how specific courses add new knowledge and connect to a realistic Nepal or regional career. Film, tourism, business and creative programs have different equipment, placement and scheduling demands. Do not select a credential only because of a possible work permit or immigration pathway.

Capilano publishes accepted English tests and education routes. Its current page reflects changed TOEFL scoring for tests taken after January 21 2026, so applicants must match the test version and intake. Most programs historically use IELTS Academic 6.5 with no band below 6.0, but pathway and selected program standards differ; verify the live requirement.

Arrange official secondary and post-secondary transcripts, translations and any program supplements. A waiver request is discretionary and must be supported. A Nepal medium-of-instruction letter should not be assumed sufficient unless it meets a published route and Capilano confirms acceptance.

For 2026–2027 Capilano publishes a standard international tuition rate of CAD 724.24 per credit. New international students are generally required to pay a one-time CAD 5,000 deposit that is applied to international tuition after registration. Read the offer deadline, deferral rules and refund policy before paying. The official page describes a full refund route for a study-permit denial when classes are dropped before the term and required evidence is supplied, subject to fraud exclusions and current conditions.

Add Metro Vancouver housing, food, transit, insurance, books, equipment, production materials, airfare from Nepal and an emergency reserve. A tuition reduction or award is conditional and should not enter the budget until confirmed in writing. Do not rely on uncertain part-time work for core tuition.

IRCC lists Capilano University as public DLI O19280078102 in North Vancouver and Sechelt. The current table shows no graduate-program indicator and a Yes PGWP-program indicator. Confirm the campus in the offer and whether the chosen credential is one of the eligible programs.

Associate degrees, diplomas, certificates and post-baccalaureate credentials can face different current PGWP rules, including field-of-study conditions where applicable. Verify the exact program, duration, delivery and full-time structure and save dated evidence. A university name alone is insufficient.

Prepare the genuine letter of acceptance, provincial attestation evidence where required, current proof of funds and a truthful study-purpose explanation.
