Alberta University of the Arts for Nepali Students 2027: Courses Fees and Admission

AUArts undergraduate applicants choose a BFA, BDes or Bachelor of Creative Industries route and declare the major or concentration when applying. Record the exact Fall or available Winter intake, foundation structure, duration, studio access and course-specific equipment needs.

BFA and BDes applicants submit a digital portfolio of 12 original artworks and a 300–500 word statement of intent under the reviewed requirements. The Bachelor of Creative Industries does not require the same portfolio package. Applicants must follow the 2027 brief if it changes.

A non-refundable confirmation deposit is required to secure a place and is credited toward future tuition and fees. Verify the amount and deadline in the offer. Credit-card service fees may apply, while international payments can use the approved TransferMate route.

Add paints, textiles, metal, wood, ceramics, printing, software, fabrication, protective equipment, exhibitions and a suitable computer. Build a Calgary budget for housing, food, transit, health coverage, winter clothing, airfare from Nepal and an emergency reserve. Awards are competitive.

AUArts also states that undergraduate applicants need the applicable PAL, while qualifying MFA applicants are exempt from PAL requirements from January 1 2026 under current rules.

The university says eligible undergraduate and graduate students remain able to apply for PGWP when program and full-time requirements are met. This is not a guarantee. Confirm the exact credential, duration, delivery, language rules and personal compliance with IRCC.
